I guess Sprint is trying to sneak some 4G LTE out to their customers, without making any kind of noise about it. A leaked image shows that Sprint plans on flipping the LTE switch in 21 markets tomorrow, April 12th. Must be nice to hear this news if you are on the Sprint network. Here is a list of the new markets you will be able to get some LTE in:
- Los Angeles and Contra Costa County, CA
- Palm Bay, FL
- Port St. Lucie, FL
- West Palm Beach, FL
- Bloomington, IN
- Lafayette, IN
- Rochelle, IL
- Mankato, MN
- Joplin, MI
- Charlotte, NC
- Shelby, NC
- Albermarie, NC
- Salisbury, NC
- Lincolnton, NC
- Memphis, TN
- Greenville, TN
- Tullahoma, TN
- Denison, TX
- Kerrville, TX
- Norfolk-Virginia Beach-Newport News, VA
After these markets get lit up with LTE, it will bring Sprint’s LTE market number to almost a hundred now. Let us know if you are in any of these cities, and see a change in speed tomorrow.
