The Samsung Galaxy S is quickly taking over and while all of the Galaxy series devices are full touch devices, the Samsung Galaxy Q plans to keep Blackberry in check. Since the Galaxy Q has it out for Blackberry, it would be safe to assume the Galaxy Q would offer a front facing QWERTY keyboard. We know that the Sprint Epic 4G will have a full-QWERTY slide out keyboard, but given the Galaxy Q dynamic, the Galaxy Q will focus its market on Blackberry fans offering something more.
Leaked features of the Samsung Galaxy Q include:
- 3-inch Super AMOLED screen (720×480)
- 1.3 mp front-facing camera
- 1 GHz Hummingbird processor
- 8MP camera with LED flash
- QWERTY keyboard
- Android 2.2
- 16GB internal memory (Micro SD expandable to 32GB)
Samsung is definitely on the offensive as their battle to take over the mobile market continues and with their Galaxy Q device taking on Blackberry, it will be interesting to see how this will pan out. The specs for the Galaxy Q make it obvious that Samsung is not holding anything back.
