LG mentioned that they were going to plan on getting into the flexible display game, and they also mentioned they wanted to get there before Samsung. Back at CES this year, Samsung did unveil the YOUM display, and showed a fake commercial displaying to us where they plan on bringing this technology. With rumors that Samsung is cooking up a curved Galaxy Note 3, LG might be taking their G-series to a new curvy level.
The image above is a concept sketch of a new phone from LG called the G Flex. As you can see, the device will have a nice curvy design, that almost reminds me of those first side profile shots of the Galaxy Nexus a couple years ago. This new phone could be out as early as November, so it looks like LG will have a slight leg up on Samsung. Let us know what you guys think about this.
