The LG G4 is LG‘s next highly anticipated device, and although the LG G3 was a very impressive performer, LG isn’t resting on its laurels for its next iteration. Speaking about the G4, LG mobile chief, Cho Jun-ho, mentioned that the G4 would be “radically different” to the G3, adding that they would be making the G4 a metal affair and would be using UX 4.0 on it as well. What’s also interesting is that Cho also mentioned the in-house processor that LG has been working on, but stopped short of saying whether the new chipset would feature in the G4.
While it’s not surprising that LG is following suit and making their devices metal, the change seems a bit ironic seeing as the G3 just won “Best Smartphone of the Year” at the Global Mobile Awards. Then again, we can’t complain about a manufacturer mixing things up and bringing us fresh innovation every year, so we can’t wait to see what LG has in store for us next month when the G4 is expected it be announced.
