LG is going to launch a new Android Smartphone for UK Market, the LG Optimus, previously known as LG GT540. LG announced that the device will hit the shelves on May 1st, however at this time no word on it’s pricing.
The LG Optimus features a 3-inch HVGA touchscreen, geo-ready 3-megapixel camera, a 3.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, support up to a 32gb microSD cards, and able to play DivX and Xvid encoded videos. The processor or RAM/ROM is still unknown but I am sure that these will not be like the higher end devices.
