Time for some more excitement courtesy of one lucky guy who got his hands on a prototype LG Nexus. XDA user 4shael is the lucky dog with the unicorn, who started a thread to answer questions about the new Nexus phone. Specs, network compatibility, and how it compares to the Galaxy Nexus were answered. Here is what we know:
- 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU
- Adreno 320 GPU
- 2 GB of RAM
- 8GB of non-expandable storage
- 768×1184 320 ppi display
- 8 megapixel camera
- Jelly Bean MR1
- Kernel 3.4.0
Sounding like a nice little flagship device, wouldn’t you say? 4shael also mentioned that the phone did not come with LTE connectivity, but HSPA+. I am sure once released it will jump on Verizon’s LTE network, because if it does not, there would be no point to have this phone. Sounds like it will be quite snappy, running a newer version of Jelly Bean and rocking a quad-core Snapdragon under its hood. The non-expandable storage will be a deal breaker for die hard Android users, but 2 GBs of RAM is thankfully added to the phone. Let us know what you guys think.
