Exclusive: Hands on with the Verizon Sony Xperia Play (Playstation Phone)

Well well, what do we have here? We are very lucky and got our hands on the Sony Xperia Play from Verizon. Running a vanilla version of Android 2.3 this device is smoking. With its sleek robust look and gaming power its sure to please. Out of all the phones I have played with, gaming on this phone blows the doors off of anything I have touched. The Playstation-like feel for this device sure gives it an extra edge in the gaming world.

With this device you will be getting the “vanilla” Android experience, however it does not leave you wanting more. It is very fluid from screen to screen and offers a very rich user experience. The physical device look and feel are great, as well it has a very nice sliding mechanism for the physical keypad.

Check out some of the specs below and enjoy the photo gallery after the break.
