It looks like Fido has a new flagship device. The Motorola DROID RAZR will be available via the carrier beginning next Tuesday, January 10th. Of course, this is no surprise for those who’ve been following this development, as Fido was anything but secretive about employee training for the RAZR beginning before the holidays. The only thing that wasn’t clear was when the device would actually hit Fido’s shelves.
Now, that you know when it’s coming, you’re probably wondering how much of a dent it’s going to put in your wallet, right? Well, if you’re willing to sign a 3-year agreement (I still can’t believe people actually do this), you can pick up the Droid RAZR for a cool $100. At this time, there is no word about an off-contract price. Considering Rodgers has the phone for $649, it’s safe to assume we’ll see a similar price tag from Fido.
On a side note, CES also kicks off next Tuesday at the 38-football-field-sized Las Vegas Convention Center. We’ll be at the show and hosting hangouts throughout the event (when possible). If you’d like to get in on all the fun, make sure to add our G+ page to your circles and stay tuned.
