Motorola Droid RAZR headed to Rogers before the holiday Season

The latest installment of ‘Droids’ from Motorola, the RAZR, has been spotted in their sales system. Pre-Orders for this device began the moment the RAZR was officially announced. Carrying a price tag of $149.99 on a 3-year contract of course. Now the device has finally made an appearance in the Rogers sales system. Showing up with a full cost price point of $549.99.

The RAZR’s most appealing aspects have to be its style and design, but also packs a decent punch. Coming in at only 7.1mm thick, 1.2 Ghz processor, 4.3 inch Super AMOLED LED qHD display and offering the “Splash Guard makes this sound pretty slick. Showing off Android 2.3.5 with promises of Android 4.0 updates headed towards the device in early 2012.

I will admit, at first thought and first sight, I wasn’t all that impressed with the Droid RAZR. It is slowly starting to grow on me though. I might just have to make a trip to Verizon when it comes out and take a closer look at this one. What are you guys thinking? Is this a flop of a device? Did Motorola try to hard and fail launching this device so close to the Galaxy Nexus?
