Motorola Droid Starting to Receive FRG22D to Enable Flash 10.1

This FRG22D build that is officially being pushed out today to Motorola Droid owners will enable you to see and download Adobe’s Flash 10.1 from the Android Market. Verizon has been testing this build since the 24th and is starting to be pushed out to handsets everywhere over the next couple of days. Verizon has stated:

Verizon Wireless has begun pushing an update today to the DROID by Motorola (introduced November 2009) that will allow customers to download Adobe Flash 10.1 via Android Market. Flash Player 10.1 provides access to millions of sites with rich content including animations, casual games, videos, rich internet applications, audio and much more.

This update will be hitting handsets over the next few days so don’t freak out if your device hasn’t received the OTA update yet. Once you receive the update, head into the Android Market and download Flash 10.1 and start browsing.
