Motorola announced the Moto M mid-range smartphone in China last month. The smartphone was benchmarked and leaked via an online retailer before the official launch. Now, Motorola has launched the Moto M in India. The smartphone comes in two variants: 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. The former is priced at INR 15,999, while the latter is priced at INR 17,999 in the country.
To recap the specifications of the smartphone, the Moto M features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display. The smartphone is powered by a 2.2GHz MediTek Helio P15 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. However, there’s also an entry-level variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There’s a microSD card slot that can used to expand the storage by up to an additional 128GB. The smartphone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and has a rear-facing fingerprint scanner.
In the camera department, the smartphone sports a 16-meagapixel rear-facing camera with a dual-tone LED flash, phase-detection autofocus, and 1080p video recording. The front snapper has a resolution of 8 megapixels and a 85-degree wide-angle lens. The phone has Dolby Atmos surround sound technology for richer sound quality. Connectivity options include 4G (with VoLTE), Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n, USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone packs a 3,050mAh battery which supports Turbo Charge rapid charging technology.
