Two unannounced phones, Meizu M3X and Meizu Pro 6 Plus, spotted at Geekbench

Meizu’s smartphones became famous as they appeared to be replicas of Apple’s iPhones, and they became quite famous in mainland China, all thanks to low price tags and Android. Meizu smartphones still receive a huge response in the country due to its unique Flyme OS and elegant hardware design. The next smartphone from the company – the Meizu X – will be launched on the 30th of November 2016. Apart from this, the company has already scheduled an event on the 6th of December 2016 for the unveiling of the Meizu M5 Note. Now, two new unannounced smartphones from the company have been spotted in Geekbench’s online database, indicating that they are in the development pipeline. Geekbench can now give us a glimpse at the specifications of the Meizu M3X and the Meizu Pro 6 Plus.

The Meizu M3X will feature an octa-core MediaTek MT6757 processor, which also goes by the name ‘Helio P20’. It will have 3GB of RAM and will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Flyme OS out of the box. While the listing does not reveal any more details about the smartphone, it might be a mid-range offering from the company. The Meizu Pro 6 Plus seems to be running an unspecified octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. As per the listing, it might come with 4GB of RAM and will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The rumored display size of the Meizu Pro 6 Plus  is 5.7 inches, and it might come with an Exynos 8890 SoC. The current Pro lineup smartphones include the Meizu Pro 6 and the Meizu Pro 6s.

Meizu is also rumored to be developing the Pro 7, which could turn out to be the first bezel-less smartphone from the company. No more details have been spilled at the moment regarding the launch of these two smartphones, but considering that the benchmark listing has surfaced, they might be officially within months.
