As you can see above, it looks like the Motorola Milestone will be heading to Canada’s Wind Mobile. A launch looks to be imminent as the image of Wind Mobile’s internal training communication surfaces.
Features of the Motorola Milestone XT720 include:
- Android 2.1 (Eclair) OS
- 720MHz Processor
- 3.7″ Touch-screen Display
- 8MP Camera with Xenon flash
- HD recording and playback with HDMI to HDTV (HDMI connection cable included)
- GPSÂ Receiver
- FM Radio
- MicroSDHC Expansion Slot (up to 32GB)
- MOTONAV technology (MOTONAV allows you to use Google Maps navigation to search for places near your location, get driving directions and view maps using Google Satellite and Street View Imagery)
- 256MB of RAM
- 512MB of ROM
- TI OMAP 3430 processor clocked at 720MHz
Compared to the current devices offered by Wind Mobile, the Motorola Milestone XT720 looks to be a major improvement especially since their first Android headset was the entry-level Huawei U8100. We would assume this device is going to drop at the end of the month, and since Wind is a pay-as-you go wireless carrier, don’t expect this device to receive any subsidized pricing.
