According to a tipster for Bloomberg, Sprint is debuting a new device from Kyocera, at an event taking place later today in New York City. Only currently having 2 devices in Sprints line-up, one being the new Sanyo Zio, it appears the Japan based company could be planning to throw another Android phone into the mix. At this time there hasn’t been any specs released on the actual device, except that it is being called the Kyocera Echo. Hopefully more is rectified later this evening, with Sprint C.E.O. Dan Hesse attending, as well as a special guest appearance by illusionist David Blaine, it would seem as though they’re announcing something more than just a phone. Alas it’s another rumor to watch unfold, let’s hope it’s more than just smoke and mirrors.
