It seems everyone is getting into social media these days with Facebook accounts and Twitter, including the carriers and with all the information that gets posted prior to a device launch, it’s no surprise carriers sometimes want a way to control that. I woke up this morning and started reading through my Twitter time-line only to see a post from T-Mobile that caught my attention.
The link directs you to a single photo on T-Mobile’s Facebook page of a lone white myTouch that we’ve all seen before and the gallery it is housed in has some very familiar shots of the phone; but I wanted to see more. I clicked on their profile and the very first post was a sneak peek at myTouch accessories. You can find the gallery here. The accessories are all pretty standard, gel skins in different colors, a plastic holster, a case only Dorothy from the wizard of Oz would carry, leather slip cases, and one very interesting variation on the clear plastic holster with a kick stand. It appears to be designed with video calling in mind as it supports the phone in both portrait and landscape mode.So now that you have an idea of what accessories will be available at launch, are you getting more anxious to buy one? I know I am, be sure to sound off in the comments below.
