The crew over at Gizmodo got a chance to play with the Nexus one just a few days ago. The general consensus is the phone is every bit as good as everyone is saying it is.
The Gizmodo article focuses on the differences between the iPhone and the Nexus One. Long time Android users have agreed we prefer our original devices over the iPhone (i.e. Dream and Magic), but the Nexus One is going to be real competition with the general public.
Some comparisons made had to do with the fact that the Nexus One is both lighter, and thinner than the iPhone. It loads web pages over WiFi faster, and the screen is more vibrant and brighter.
The rumored release date is around the first of the new year, although this still hasn’t been confirmed by Google, or any mobile carrier.
