The Galaxy Gear has gotten mixed reviews since reviewers have gotten their hands on it, at least that is what I have been seeing. Some people think its stupid, and poorly thought out, some are actually digging the little guy. Everyone seems to want to see what Google is cooking up when it comes to the smartwatch game. Well how about some Nova Launcher to make the Galaxy Gear more of an AOSP smartwatch.
In the video below, ArsTechnica’s Ron Amadeo demonstrates how Nova Launcher runs on the Galaxy Gear. With its 800 MHZ processor and 512 MB of RAM, it actually handles it very well. It is running Android 4.2.2 so I am sure Jelly Bean is helping out with that just a teeny bit. He also shows us Candy Crush, and pulls up an episode of Breaking Bad.
