The paid YouTube subscriptions have finally been implemented into YouTube today. There are about 53 channels you can now choose to pay for, and I know a lot of you are laughing at that factor, but Google and YouTube are offering a 14 day trial run for their new pilot program. Not to mention most of these channels will only cost you a buck a month, so it is pretty similar to how Google handles their magazine subscriptions in the Play Store.
Channels like Sesame Street and UFC, will offer full episodes and classic fighting events to anyone that is subscribed to them. Not too bad for only a dollar a month, and I wouldn’t be surprised if more shows, or even networks start flocking their way over to this platform.
Let us know what you guys think. If you wanted to see a certain show or network to start using paid subscriptions on YouTube, which ones would they be?
