Presidents Day Weekend Loyalty Offer starting today through the 17th for T-mobile Customers

Another holiday, another excuse to get contracts. Looks like T-Mobile will be making some calls to pre-selected loyal customers and making them an offer they might not be able to refuse. One of the many complaints that has been heard time and time again from loyal T-Mobile customers is that the company doesn’t do squat for them. Coming from the inside, I can agree with that. The extra benefits and perks of a long-standing customer we usually facilitated by Loyalty, which is where you head if you threaten to cancel your account. Even there T-Mobile limited what a rep could offer to keep a customer.

Finally though it looks like T-Mobile is going to make a proactive effort to please its long-standing customers. T-Mobile has mailed out close to 440,000 fliers to the pre-select group of customers offering them free phones with new contracts. The offer will be based on your account type, Value or Classic. If if you are selected based on your value plan, then you get to pay nothing down after a rebate. If you have a classic account type, then the phone would be free after mail in rebate. How they selected the customers is a still a little sketchy, we assume it is based on tenure, on-time payments and or current upgrade eligibility. I doubt customers who just did a contract will be offered another new phone so soon.

Eligibility:

  • Offer is available for preselected Classic/Legacy Contract customers who present the Customer Mailer in-store or appear as eligible in the QuikView Targeted Offers Tool.
  • Selection criteria were based on various factors; qualified customers can be identified in QuikView targeted offers and CIHU.
  • More than the 440,000 customers who receive the Customer Mailer will show as qualified; however, RSAs should only proactively offer to customers who present the Customer Mailer or appear as eligible for the offer in QuikView Targeted Offers Tool.

Anyone out there get a phone call or flyer in the mail yet? Will you take advantage of it and what phone you gonna snag?
