Recent press invites for Galaxy S III May 22nd event, shows potential Render

Oh happy day! Another little diddy about the Samsung Galaxy S III. A recent press invite that marks May 22nd in London as the day the world will finally know everything. I have already marked that date and the two days before it on my calendar. As you can see, the invite also shows a render of the device. Lots of silver, angled top and/or bottom with a grooved edge. I assume that is the bottom of the device and the top would be more flat and traditional for a better fit to your ear. It appears the screen goes pretty damn close tot he edge of the device. If that is the bottom half of the phone, it looks pretty sexy.

Compared to all the other supposed leaked images and renders, this design definitely seems like the most plausible. Bringing a new style and form factor to the “Next Generation” device is exactly what Samsung needs to do to continue their reign. Although, I did like the one I used in this post a lot too.

Seems Eldar Murtazin, one of the few people in the world that is said to actually have had one in his hand, had a little something to say about it via Twitter.

The phrase ‘No Comment’ is usually a nice way of admitting something without actually admitting to it. The addition of the little smiley face adds one to my face. Seems a bit like a confirmation to me. We are sure there will be many more leaks and supposed images of the device before May 22nd finally gets here. It can’t come soon enough for me.

What do you guys think? Is this really the new SGSIII or just another ploy to keep us on our toes and wanting one?
