3D viewing added to all short 1080p videos on YouTube, 4D around the Corner

Last year YouTube kicked off a beta feature that let YouTube uploaders to easily convert their videos to 3D with the click of a mouse. Today they have expanded the beta by adding in automatic 3D conversion for short form videos uploaded in 1080p. Meaning that those of you that have a pair of 3D glasses lying around can select ‘3D’ in the viewing settings and get some new dimension to your YouTube viewing experience.

I wish my kids hadn’t ruined all my 3D glasses. It could have been fun to find a bunch of 3D videos to share. Who know, one day you might get a dose of the ManDroid show in 3D. It would be like David was right there. That’s a little creepy huh?

And whats all this talk about 4D, 5D and 6D being just around the corner? I have never heard of such a thing.
