With a sense of style and class only Samsung could manage to pull off, the nation’s number 1 mobile phone producer and the world’s number 1 smartphone provider invited more than 1,000 fans selected from 17.5 million Facebook users and 3 million Tweeters to New York to kick off the sales of the Galaxy Note II and introduce the Galaxy Camera.  The fellow Androidians lucky enough to attend were given a special opportunity to learn about the products through interactive experiences designed around work, art, culinary, music and photography. Guests were also able to conduct hands-on demos at stations with celebrity hosts, including:
Interior Designer Kelly Wearstler created custom inspiration boards using the Galaxy Note II’s redesigned S Pen with interior designer. With the Galaxy Note II, users instantly outlined and cropped content on the screen into any shape to save, share or post to their own customized design portfolio.
Chef Alfred Portale of Gotham Bar and Grill and Milk and Honey Mixologist Sam Ross helped attendees order custom cocktails and desserts from using S Beam on the Galaxy Note II. Attendees used the Note II Air View feature to hover over a picture gallery of several cocktail and dessert options and then used S Beam to place their order.
Photographer Tyler Shields captured and customized photos taken by with the Galaxy Note II and Galaxy Camera. Attendees posed for their picture and were able to choose the best facial expression for each individual in the group using the Galaxy Note II’s Best Face camera function.
Artist Futura provided a personal touch to the event by curating attendees contributions to a unique art piece created during the event. Each attendee used the S Pen to contribute to the art piece. Users could even handwrite keywords that would then match illustration images through the Idea Sketch feature.
As if being the first ones to drool over the Galaxy Note II’s 5.5 inch HD Super AMOLED touchscreen with 16:9 true HD aspect ratio display featuring the Samsung Exynosâ„¢ 1.6 GHz quad-core processor and Androidâ„¢ 4.1 Jelly Bean, which brings stunning graphical capabilities and the Google Now service or the Samsung Galaxy Cameraâ„¢ combining  high-performance photography with Androidâ„¢ 4.1, Jelly Bean, and wireless cellular internet connectivity, to create  a powerful camera with a familiar, intuitive user interface with access to all your favorite apps from the Google Playâ„¢ Store wasn’t enough to get any Android fans heart pumping, I’m sure Kanye West’s live performance did the trick.
