New Samsung tablet with 18.4-inch display apparently on the way

We thought personal tablets couldn’t get any bigger when Samsung released the 12.2-inch Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 a few years ago, but it appears the Korean manufacturer is on track to out-do itself in the near future. According to SamMobile, a Samsung tablet with 18.4-inch display is in the pipeline and will be aimed towards living room, office and school use. Despite its huge footprint, the device is rumoured to have a 1920×1080 resolution display, an Exynos 7580 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, microSD slot and 5,700mAh. It will even feature front and rear cameras, which we imagine will be like taking photos with a computer monitor.

Codenamed “Tahoe“, presumably due to its comparable size, the tablet will also run Android Lollipop. We can only imagine how much a tablet of this size will cost, but for the time being, there’s no information on the pricing, expected release date or even a possible name. Looks like we’ll have to wait this one out.
