Sometimes we get so caught up in other things and daily lives, that we forget about what is really important. Ya, new devices. The
Samsung Galaxy Note II is on its way. Just not soon enough. We all know the same five carriers that put the Galaxy S III to market here in the U.S. are also going to be force feeding us the Note II. Prices have been leaked for some, not for others. Some details for carrier customization’s and carrier partnerships for games and apps have also been talked about. Samsung has a press event scheduled for October 24th which is just 5 days away and we believe an
October 24th launch is highly possible for most if not all 5 carriers. Give or take a few days.
So what then could we possible have to share that we haven’t shared already. First up is a shipping label that lists a 16GB Galaxy Note II demo device heading to T-Mobile sores. This is awesome news for internal store employees. They will have some good hands on time and training with the physical device before it is officially launched. If my store was a bit closer I would probably be down there hounding them to let me see it in the back for a few minutes.
Another little bit of information, that really isn’t all that surprising, is a leaked price tag for the device at Wal-Mart. Looks like it will come in at $299.99. Much like
US Cellular posted earlier in the month and if memory serves me, so did Sprint.
Can you feel the excitement growing over the launch of this device? I know we can. It is a pretty big step for Samsung and for the U.S. market. It will be the first quad-core toting device sold stateside that will actually give us 4G LTE and won’t have to be imported as an unlocked device. How many of you guys are planning to line up and get a Note II the second you know the launch day?
