Big news? Not nearly as much as the Froyo update was , but any update is a step in the right direction. Samsung Fascinate owners will soon be receiving a small update, dubbed ED04, by means of OTA . The update addresses call enhancements and improves delivery of future updates. While this may not be Gingerbread update it may provide an easier exchange of data if/and when that day comes so you can grab it as fast as possible.
As mentioned before this update should be rolling out Over-The-Air, but we know we have impatient people. If you would like to try your luck and upgrade manually simply hit you “Home” button and then “Menu > Settings > About phone > System Updates > Check New.” Let us know if you got your update. If or when you receive your update be sure to make a call and let us know if the improvements are working out as well.
