T-Mobile sure wasn’t all that responsive in inquires from multiple sites regarding what processing chip was actually in the
Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G. To some, it might not even matter, but for many, the difference in which chip is inside could be the deciding factor in purchasing it. The Relay 4G will indeed have the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor inside of it. The difference is huge between the S3 and the S4. Speed is drastically increased and battery life is reduced. For a mid to high-end device this makes all the difference in the world. To put it into perspective, the HTC One S uses the S4 processor and 1GB of RAM. If you have taken a look at that device then you know it is pretty darn fast, even with Sense over the top. Of course the screen size and resolution aren’t miraculous on the Relay 4G, but it should be extremely fast and be a great addition to T-Mobile’s line up.
The Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G is slated to hit
T-Mobile store shelves on September 19th for $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate.
