Every since the Galaxy S line of devices was launched by Samsung, we have all impatiently been waiting for our 2.2 Froyo update. They promised time and time again it was coming, yet here we are, still waiting. I know a lot of people have given up on Samsung actually sticking to their word and getting us an update. According to a tweet earlier today, they are still working on it.
I am pretty sure we have all heard this before. Now that they have hit their 10 million devices sold, they should have the capitol to get this done finally.
In my opinion, they need to scrap 2.2 Froyo and push us out a 2.3 Gingerbread OTA. After all the Nexus S is just a modified Galaxy S device. As always, only time will tell. Best of luck Samsung, you better figure something out or your next release might not be met with such a great following.
