Samsung SGH-T779, possible Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), visits the FCC with a T-mobile Branding

Looks like T-Mobile is looking to bring another Samsung tablet to the store shelves sometime soon. The Samsung SGH-T779 has appeared in a recent FCC filing which depicted a 4G enabled Samsung tablet with T-Mobile branding all over the place. A little detective work and some talented super imposing of the SHG-i497, which is AT&T’s Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), seems to point that this will be T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1).

For those that are die-hard Samsung fans, T-Mobile customers and like contracts with built-in data services, this looks like it will be the ticket. We aren’t sure when this will finally hit T-Mobile stores, but we bet it is soon since the holiday shopping season is fast approaching. Take a look at the awesome super imposing job the Unwired View did on the original above. “Like a glove.”

I often wonder though, how big is the carrier branded tablet market now a days? With the new Kindle Fires being out, the Nexus 7 and other great tablets out for much less than these will be offered, is the market not worth the effort anymore? Lets hear what you guys think about tablets and carriers in the comments below.
