Samsung shows off Galaxy Note Premium Suite in latest Video, available second Quarter

The Samsung Galaxy Note is an extremely hot device. After seeing it in Vegas and then having a couple of weeks to play with one, I can easily see why it appeals to so many users. The screen is brilliant, the addition of the S-Pen makes life a little more fun and exciting while the ‘S’ apps are great to have at your disposal. The only thing missing from the equation is the so-called ‘Premium Suite’ with the Ice Cream Sandwich update. A recently added video to Samsung Mobiles YouTube channel highlights the new Premium Suite and tags second Quarter as the launch time. That is anytime between now and the end of June.

The new suite is aimed at S-Pen enhanced applications. For instance, the new S Note app lets you create a notebook on your device with seven templates to get you going. You have standard Notes, Meeting Note, Idea Note, Magazine, Travel, Diary and Recipe. All allowing you to add photos of videos into the mix. It even offers a record and play function so you can draw a picture and then play back the drawing like a movie.

The new update will also integrate the auto shape recognition which we say on the Galaxy Note 10.1. Where your terribly lopsided circle auto-corrects to a real circle. Not to mention the mathematical formula solving capabilities as well.

While the added functions and features are going to really increase the usability of the Galaxy Note, the more important aspect of the update is the OS version. The Premium Suite is supposed to land alongside the much-anticipated Ice Cream Sandwich update. Giving you more of a WOW factor at one time is going to make this a huge update. Take a quick watch of the Premium Suit in action in the video below. Lets hope it doesn’t take till June to push this out.
