What is the secret to the Galaxy S III? Money. Marketing can be an easy game as long as there is a nice chunk of change behind it. Samsung had just that. But it was not just the GSIII; pretty much anything with a Galaxy in the name was backed by this money. GSIII just had the most.
The image above shows a graph of just how much money Samsung used. $401 million. That is a HUGE step up from $78 million they used in 2011. Something tells me they will use roughly around the same amount, or little bit more this year with the Galaxy S IV. As you can see from some of the other OEM’s like Apple and HTC, Samsung definitely is spending more. It works out for them though, and that money will be backing the GSIV and I am sure it will pay off as well.
