SDK released for NOOKcolor; Will it have any Success?

 

Barnes & Noble has released its SDK (Software Development Kit) in hopes that developers will take the time to build some applications for the eReader. The unfortunate part of this will require developers to completly rebuild their apps from the ground up. There is currently no easy way to port an app to the device. I am sure someone out there will take the time to build a couple of apps just to do it, but I can’t see it gaining a lot of ground from the community.
