As many of us know, Skype has broken the chains of Verizon exclusivity and is now available in the Android Market and available for everyone. The version of Skype that launched was only available over Wi-Fi, but thanks to Xeudoxus, a modder behind Dark Edge themes, he has tweaked the application allowing calls over 3G. So, if you want to thanks someone for saving the day, make sure you look up Xeudoxus, here and send him a thank you.
Verizon’s Skype application already allows 3G calling, but being how they had to keep some kind of exclusivity, the version that landed on the Android Market did not. The great guys over at Droid-Life have made the Skype application available by clicking here and for the record, you do not need to be rooted, just go into settings>applications> and make sure you check “unknown sources.”
Donate to Xeudoxus here, he’ll appreciate it.
Anyone try this out yet?
