It has been a long and dramatic 7 years with the Sons. While the series is in its final season (insert angry, sad and unbelievable face here) that doesn’t mean we are out-of-luck in the world of the SOA. Today Orpheus Interactive have confirmed a partnership with Fox Digital Entertainment on the development of an interactive game that will continue your ride with the Sons long after the season finale.
Sons of Anarchy: The Prospect is set to launch sometime in early 2015, unfortunately that still gives us anywhere from a month to four months to wait. When it does launch it will be considered the ‘first episode’ leaving lots of room for multiple update installments for years to come. The press release doesn’t detail a heck of a lot though. The game will contain an original story, location and previously unknown chapter in the club. Executive Producer of SOA, Kurt Sutter, did put out a tweet earlier this year to allude to a game’s existence saying, “I cannot give you any more details, but I will tell you that there will definitely be an SOA game…and it’s pretty f**king awesome.“ I will just have to take his word on it for now. However, I am sure it will live up to his standards in theme and story if he is excited about it.
