South Korea’s Games Ratings Board said it has sent an official proposal for corrective measures to Google Korea, warning the U.S.- based company may face termination of its Android market service there if it continues to defy local regulations. The defiance? The 4,400 game titles in the market that have not been rated. While the issue at hand is only in regards to games, the South Korean government is treating the issue as all or nothing.
Google Korea has not released any official comment with regards to the letter as of Thursday afternoon. Android currently has two devices in South Korea; the Motorola Motori and the LG-KH5200 Andro 1, with more phones expected to come to the Korean market in the coming year.
