With more images of the Motorola Droid 2 Global making their rounds, it seems that some official specs of this device has made it to Motorola’s website and by the looks so far, this is going to be a pretty fast device. As you can see in the image below, this device will be running similar specs to the Motorola Droid 2 like Android 2.2, 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and 8GB internal storage, but this device features a few more perks that set this apart.
The rumor going around was that this device will feature the same OMAP processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and by the official specs we can confirm that to be true. This device features dual CDMA/GSM bands that allow this device to travel wherever you go hence the name “Global.” We’re waiting on the official announcement from Verizon to get a better look at this beast, but until then feel free to check out some leaked images of the Droid 2 Global.
In a perfect world, we would be able to build our own device A la carte style. If that were the case, what would your custom device have? Let’s keep them realistic with the known technology that is out or soon to be coming out.
