The much anticipated new HTC EVO Shift 4G has just been posted to Wirefly’s website for pre-order. The latest device from Sprint features Android 2.2 froyo , a 3.6″ touch screen, 5mp camera and a slide out keyboard to name just a few specs. According to the pre-order website, you can pick up the newest addition to the Android family for only $119.99 with a new Sprint contract.
Not too bad of a price for a new device launch. I am sure the price has to be linked to the smaller size and lower end specs than its mom. I think it should have been called the EVO Baby. After all, the kids are just like their parents but with less bragging rights to success. I still think this device will sell well in the market, simply because of the huge success the brand has already had and the affordable entry point.
Wirefly has posted a very nice video review of the unit that can be found below. They will also be doing a side by side comparison the EVO 4G and Shift very soon, so stay tuned for the showdown.
