ShopSavvy 4: Beta Test Application Available

I am sure we all use some sort of barcode scanning application. You almost have to if you are on any of the Android sites regularly. ShopSavvy is the pioneer in the barcode scanning application wave. As of today, ShopSavvy has just released their 4.0 Beta Test version.

Well it is finally ready for beta testers (normal users should avoid this version). If you would like to help us out AND you have a newer Android phone like an Evo, Nexus One, Incredible or the Nexus S this build should work for you. (Older phones will have to wait until the next build to work). Take it for a test drive and report your bugs to bugs@biggu.com – if you are the first to report a bug we will send you an official beta tester t-shirt. You will note that Android is getting a few cool features that our iPhone users won’t see for a few updates. Android makes it much easier for us to stay ahead. Anyway, let us know what you think

Since so many of us are sporting newer devices, not too many of us should experience any issues. As they point out though, this is a beta, so you most likely will run into issues. If you are interested in giving the latest version a whirl, feel free click the DOWNLOAD link and share your thoughts on the latest release.
