Sprint officially announces the new ‘Vital’, slated for June 14th at $99.99

Sprint Vital Android Device
Sprint is looking to attempt to capitalize on a new exclusive Android device that they had built for their network by ZTE. The new Sprint Vital sill be launched this Friday, June 14th, and come in with a small price tag of $99.99 on a new two-year contract. Excluding tax and of course the $50 mail-in rebate.

The Sprint Vital comes with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, 1.5GHz dual-core processor (Qualcomm MSM8960), 13MP camera with LED flash and a 1MP front shooter. You will see all your favorite Sprint pre-loaded apps and Google apps on a 5-inch 1280 x 720 IPS display with a break resistant LCD. Inside you get 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. There is at least a Micro SD card slot which supports up to a 64GB sd card. Power wise you are looking at a 2,500 mAh battery that claims up to 15 hours of talk time.

The Vital also is eco-friendly. This is one thing Sprint has seemed to have on lock down over the last few years. For those planet conscious people who still like smart phones, the Vital has the Underwriters Laboratory Environment (ULE) Platinum Certification. Which is the highest level of environmental performance and the device is 98% recyclable.

Expect to see the Vital on all Sprints sales channels starting June 14th.
