When I first found this game I was like “No Way. Did they really make an Android game based on the Swamp People TV show?” Sure enough they did. You start off customizing your character a little bit and giving him or her a name of their own. Then you are off to the swamps for some good old fashion gator hunting. You lay your traps, pick up power ups and attempt to be the best gator hunter in the swamps.
After you lay a trap you head off in search of other places to leave more. When the trap is sprung you drive your boat over and unleash your gun on the gator. Pretty simple concept, but not always as easy as it would seem. You use the joystick on the left to maneuver your boat around the swamp and the joystick on the right to aim your gun. As you progress you earn coins and other goodies to help you upgrade to faster and stronger boats, better bait methods and more powerful guns. Much of it is based on coins that you earn and that you can buy. The game also features 8 different boat races where you compete for 1st place too.
 
 
It is actually a pretty entertaining little game with lots of customization and enhancement opportunities. It doesn’t hurt that it is free either. If you want to give it a whirl and get your swampiness on, hit up the QR code below. While it is rating out at 4 stars, I would personally give it about 3.5. It’s worth the download and try, but expect the controls to be a little awkward at first and some self learning to take place.
