T-Mobile Extends HSPA+ to 10 More Cities

T-Mobile has announced another expansion of their HSPA+ network, which now covers about 167 markets and more than 200 million people. Their zippy HSPA+ network is now being offered in 10 new cities.

  • Anderson, Indiana
  • Benton; Jackson; Battle Creek, Michigan
  • Fort Collins; Loveland, Colorado
  • Lawrence; Manhattan, Kansas
  • Springfield, Illinois
  • Wichita Falls, Texas

T-Mobile has also mentioned that they are still on track to double the network speeds currently offered from 21Mb/s to 42Mb/s in few markets by mid-year which would include Las Vegas, Orlando, and New York, followed by New Jersey and Chicago.

Despite recent events, concerning the merger, T-Mobile has not slowed down. You may remember a similar announcement in early March in which they enabled HSPA+ in 5 other cities. This continued expansion seeks to show that they mean business, and fully intend to provide their customers with the best service possible. All full list of the cities covered can be found below.
