T-Mobile getting all “Amped” up with another Un-Carrier event on Thursday June 25th
The bad boy of wireless, John Legere, is gearing up for another Un-Carrier event scheduled for this Thursday. As the title, and image, would suggest it is all about getting Amped! The accompanying teaser video to the announcement is extremely theatrical. Has a feel of San Adreas, Jurassic World and a major concert. I’m talking the big 4 (Metallica, Anthrax, Megadeth and Slayer) style concert. Maybe it was just the music segment in the video that got me to wishing for a chance at that concert again. As you saw, the trailer covers all the previous T-Mobile Un-Carrier announcements from Simple Choice in 1.0, to Music Freedom in 6.0 to the more recent Un-Carrier for Business in 9.0. T-Mobile’s Un-Carrier 10.0 looks to make the previous 9 moves bigger, bolder and more incredible by expanding on them even more. I really have no idea what they could do to make things even bigger and better, but I am sure John will be happy to toss out a few profanities, get into a little bit of trouble and piss off the rest of the networks a little more.
