Team ROU launcher concept in alpha stages, looking for more Developers

Custom launchers are always a wonderful way for us to change the look and feel of our Android devices. The stock launchers that come with many of our devices lack anything extra special. I wish I knew the stats on custom launchers installed vs stock, but I don’t. I am willing to bet the percentage of users on something other than what the carriers and OEMs provide is fairly huge.

Team ROU has been working on a new concept launcher for a while now. I know when we see concepts we often wonder if it will ever amount o anything. This one is well on its way though. The team currently has an alpha build that they are working with at the moment. It is shaping up quite nicely. However, they are looking for a few more experienced developers to jump on board and help out with it. If you happen to be one of those developers, then by all means  contact the lead developer – horangl3e@gmail.com

Check out a few of the actual screenshots taken by the development team. They have also recently updated the project video of what they want the whole launcher UI to offer us.

It is looking pretty nice. I hope they can get enough support and help to bring this concept to life. I think it has a lot of potential. As I said before, help out if you can and the rest of us can follow the progress via their Twitter account.
