Teaser goes up from LG for the new 4.7-inch quad-core Superphone

This is one of those times where I wish I had a Korean interpreter available. LG posted up a little teaser video talking about their new Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core device we hear about from Qualcomm yesterday. The device still has no name or even code name leaked out just yet, which is pretty amazing since it is supposed to be available sometime next month. Spec wise it has the new Snapdragon s$ Pro quad-core processor, Agreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM and is also supposed to have a 13MP camera. While that sounds good, the fact that it will also have a MDM9615 baseband chip to allow it to utilize LTE makes it threat in the states. Granted it is still an LG device, while many of us will stay clear of it, there are millions of people who will snag one just because it could be the first quad-core device to hit the U.S. that uses LTE.

The teaser is all in Korean so it doesn’t do us much good. They don’t even show a real device. But the images they do show look pretty good. And assuming the benchmarks are comparing against the dual-core S4 it looks good. They also pop up a battery icon and graph. Which looks like the new processor and device is going to give better power management and offer up longer battery life. They posted up a teaser site dedicated to the device. It looks like they will be releasing at least 5 more videos about it. We will have to keep an eye on it and see what else comes out.

That is always a good thing. Take a quick watch and let us know what you think. Are you gonna see what LG is planning ans if they can make this device a contender.
