If you have ever used the HTC IME keyboard then visually, you will only tell a small difference. The Swiftkey keyboard is smart. If you just can’t get the feel for Swype, then I have to recommend the Swifkey keyboard. Just launched for public beta, this keyboard predicts what you are going to type next. I wouldn’t try to figure out how it does it, or your mind will melt. If you absolutely cannot let go of Swype, I encourage you to try it.
