Ice Cream Sandwich on the Barbie…. Well, maybe that isn’t such a great idea. For those of you rocking out in Australia on the
Telstra network have a nice cool treat waiting for your Galaxy S II though. The 200MB ICS update is working its way to customers across the country in one of two fashions. You can be patient and wait for the magically delicious update to land via your standard OTA update, or you can hit up Samsung kies and just get it now. The choice is yours. Of course the update moves your SGSII to Android 4.0.3 with the lovely TouchWiz overlay.
On a side note, this ICS update is only for the original Galaxy S II, if you are rocking a Galaxy S II 4G you are going to have to wait a bit longer. Makes a person wonder if the extra data speeds is worth the software update delay.
