Have you been wanting a Pebble smart watch, but can’t be bothered waiting for your order? Well, according to a leaked inventory record, an item with description “PEBBLE SMART W” is due in stock at Best Buy as soon as the 7th of July. Several more clues suggest that this item is actually the Pebble watch, and not the “PEBBLE SMART WATERING SYSTEM”, include the department, which states the item is to be sold in the “digital communications” department as a “appcessory”.
Seems pretty convincing. The only issue I have with the inventory list is the Master Pack Qty, which I’m assuming means the quantity of watches in a shipper box. The photos that were sent as updates to Kickstarter backers (below) showed shippers that look much too big to only hold 30 Pebbles, but that might just be me nit-picking again. Mostly I’m just bummed that places not in North America will likely never have the option of buying Pebble from a department store, but I’d like to be surprised.
