Update headed to the Motorola Atrix 4G Today

Horray for updates! Am I right? Even if the newest software version for your beloved Atrix 4G isn’t Ice Cream Sandwich, an update is still a welcomed sight. Starting today, the Atrix 4G from Motorola will be start to receive a little push from AT&T. The update starts hitting devices today and will bring the usual amount of bug fixes and improvements.

• Latest Android security fixes from Android 2.3.6+
• Bluetooth voice commands while the device is asleep
• Improvements to the Messaging and Contacts applications (unspecified)
• WiFi settings update and AT&T Mobile Hotspot usage built-in
• Increases in stability, power management

Hey, an update is still an update. Hopefully this one can hold you over for a bit. Something tells me it could be a while, if ever, that the Atrix gets an official icy treat.
