Breaking: Google finally brings Chrome to Android 4.0

Heya kids! I’m going to keep this short and sweet, as details are still rolling in, but CNet just dropped a bombshell for the Android community by reporting that Google has FINALLY unveiled Chrome for our beloved OS. Of course, there are a few things that need to be pointed out here before you jump out of your underpants. First things first, Chrome will only work on Android 4.0, so unless you’re rocking Ice Cream Sandwich, well… you’re S.O.L.

Next, it appears that the Market link isn’t quite ready — at least for us. The first thing I did before even reading the original article was mash on that market link in hopes of giving Chrome a test run and grabbing a few pictures, but I got an unavailable error. Typically, we’d hold off on posting about it, but there’s tons of evidence in Stephen Shankland’s article that points to the browser’s long-awaited arrival, so here we are. For more information, head over to the original post. Here’s the Market Link that was provided by CNet. Once we have more on this story (and preferably a download link) we’ll bring you all the juicy deetz.

If you’ve already managed to get your hands on a copy, let us know what you think. We’re STOKED!

[UPDATE] The link is working now! Time to dig in for a bit. I’ll bring you a more detailed post on the browser ASAP!
