Verizon Galaxy S III OTA coming, brings MultiWindow and a whole lot More

We all know Verizon is usually last to the party when it comes to making software updates to their devices. I guess better late than never is a good way to look at it. For those of you on Big Red who are sporting a Samsung Galaxy S III, keep an out for OTA update to hit your device over the next few days. At least that is how it usually seems to work out.

The update will be fairly large at about 129.1MB’s. It brings in the usual set of bug fixes and adjustments, but most importantly, it brings in a slew of Samsung specific software enhancements. Mainly MultiWindow, the dual screen software that lets you run two apps at the same time on one screen. Along with Best Shot functions and a few other camera features. Be sure to keep your device charged up and stick to Wi-Fi when possible so when it does go out you can grab it quickly. You can always just keep checking in the settings for updates if you are a little bit impatient.
