Recent news coming from Droid-Life suggests that Verizon has been sending select, existing customers emails offering the Thunderbolt for a reduced price of $149.99 with after a new 2-year contract and $100 instant rebate. Good news for those of you that have yet to get their hands on Verizon’s first LTE device. No criteria as to who gets the email has really been specified, but it’s safe to say they’re targeting customers that have an upgrade and/or are coming to the end of their contract. If you haven’t received this email and think you should have, a quick call to (800-437-6132) should provide you with the answers you’re seeking.
Update:
According to reports from a few users, this promotion could be restricted to certain regions, which seems to be Chicago area for now. Of course this may be wrong, so if you received this email outside of Chicago let us know so we can keep the information accurate. [Thanks, @sitrucz]
